British Wireless for the Blind

Specializes in radios, CD and other audio players that are specially adapted to the needs of the blind and partially sighted. People who are getting certain state benefits can get equipment from Wireless from the Blind free of charge. In our area application for free equipment should be made through one of the Powys County Council rehab officers.

Electronic Aid Library

Run by the Disabled Living Foundation can loan equipment for you to try for free, though you may be expected to pay the return postage costs.
