VIB will do all we can to help, using our experience and knowledge, if further or more in-depth or specialist help is required we will endeavour to put you intocuh with the right person or organisation.  Some of these are listed below.

Social Services Vision Rehabilitation Specialists

Vision Rehabilitation Specialists, known as VRS, in Powys are part of the Social Services Sensory Loss Team. They can provide practical help, training and advice in all areas of coping with sight loss.

The RNIB provide advice and help in coping with sight loss and  on your rights, welfare benefits, education, employment and more in Wales.

Wales Council for the Blind (WCB)

WCB is an umbrella agency representing vision impaired within Wales.  They work to campaign, lobby and support the improvement of services and life experience for people with sight loss.  WCB provides a platform vision impaired people to raise their concerns and wishes.

Guide Dogs for the Blind

Provide mobility services and training, with and without dogs.  They can provide help, advice and training for family, friends and carers of those with sight loss with specific services for children and young people with sight loss.
